Scheduled Destruction of Special Education RecordsEvent

Special Education records may be destroyed five (5) years after graduation, or five years after students have exited from Special Education Services in compliance with FERPA regulations. Parents and/ or former Special Education students, who received Special Education Services on/ or before May 30, 2020, may obtain their Special Education records by contacting Courtney Topaha at the Special Education Office by July 30, 2026. Call Ms. Shanon Henderson at 505-368-4984 Ext. 20121 to set up an appointment to obtain these records. Destruction of records is scheduled to begin July 31, 2026.
